Wisisk is an educational website designed for first nations children.
This project has earned international design awards for web design in both education and training based learning.
Wisisk teaches first nations children about the wildlife on their reserve, shows them where these animals can be found all while upholding the MicMac language. Its function is not only to teach these kids about wildlife through a digital experience but also to show them where in their community they can safely experience this wildlife in person.
This website included a custom CMS platform, interactive quiz, interactive map and over 30 custom illustration. I had the pleasure of being the project lead, web designer and illustrator on this project.
